Los Angeles Chargers defensive lineman Corey Liuget will be suspended without pay for the first four games of the upcoming season for a violation of the NFL’s doping policy.

The Chargers announced the suspension Friday.

Liuget says he takes ”full responsibility” for the violation. During his offseason training program Authentic Customized Eagles Jerseys , the veteran lineman says he ”placed my trust in someone who, in hindsight, was not well-versed in the NFL’s policy on banned substances.”

Chargers general manager Tom Telesco says Liuget’s mistake was unintentional, but disappointing.

Liuget has been a fixture on the Chargers’ defensive line since 2011. He started 12 games last season, getting 21 tackles and 1 sacks.

Liuget signed a five-year, $58.5 million extension with the Chargers in 2015.

Even though defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said the Eagles will take their time in sorting out their linebackers, it’s a safe assumption Thomas Vanek Jersey , looking at their roster, that Corey Nelson is the frontrunner for the weakside job.

The Eagles released Mychal Kendricks last week, leaving an opening that Nelson hopes to fill.

“I don鈥檛 know what [Kendricks’ release] does,” Nelson said, via Les Bowen of phillynews.com. “I鈥檓 just here to give it my all, to compete to the best of my abilities, and to make this team better. . . . I don鈥檛 know where that puts me at.

鈥淚t kinda surprised me. I talked with [Kendricks] Ray Nitschke Jersey , had a good relationship with him. Treated him as he was still gonna be here. It鈥檚 definitely a surprise.鈥?/p>

The Eagles also have Nate Gerry, a fifth-round pick in 2017 who is converting from safety. Gerry played only one game last season, and that was the meaningless regular-season finale against the Cowboys.

Nelson opted to take Philadelphia’s one-year, $2.25 million deal, even though the Broncos offered to match. Nelson played in 53 games with six starts in his four seasons in Denver.

The Eagles are training Nelson at all three spots, though he appears best suited for the WILL.
